Just keep talking...
Today at the grocery store in the check-out line the checker man says "is all this stuff for just YOU?" When I said yes he said "Are you trying to quit smoking?" and then I gave him a confused look and he said "OH, well at least it will last a while..." Umm...right. I didn't have THAT much - just a lot of veggies and fruit and drinks...geez.

That's like when David and I order at restaurants, and we eat all of it, and the waiter ALWAYS says, "Wow, you did a good job there. I didn't think you could eat that." Thank you, thank you very much waiter.
That's weird that they would say that at a grocery store, though. I mean, hello, what else would you be buying?
Once I was riding on the Metro here with my backpack on my front, which is considered to be the courtesy way to ride the Metro since you aren't whacking your stuff into people that way, and a man asked me if I was practicing for being pregnant. Um, what?!
