A Happy Happy Birthday

Yesterday was my birthday, and it was one of my best birthdays ever. First, I actually admitted it was my birthday this year, unlike last year when I refused to even have a birthday happy hour. I went home last weekend for the family birthday (yummy cheese lasagna and lots of mommy time). Then, when I got to work Friday my cube was totally decorated. Except, instead of birthday decorations it was Halloween, which if you know me well you know is perfect. There was a body outline in tape on the floor, spiderwebs, hanging spiders and skulls, cauldrons of candy, etc. My mom sent me flowers, and the folks at work gave me tons of cards and gifts. Nicole and Melissa took me out to lunch for Indian food. That night was a birthday happy hour at Johnny Carinos with some of my best friends, and the yummy chocolate cake they give you for birthdays. Barbara gave me this candle that smells like pumpkin pie and it smells soooo good. Then Saturday we went to Fiesta Texas for Fright Fest. Pamela brought me a breakfast cinnabon to start the day with. Sara met us for lunch in San Antonio. I was happy just to get to see her, but she brought me some of the yummiest praline brownies in the entire world. At the park we took tons of pictures so look for those later. We rode all the good rides, I went through the haunted house, and drank Mr. Pibb the entire day. I ate so much sugar that I was bouncing off the walls pretty much the entire way home. It was a perfect day and we had an awesomely good time. There's even a few quotes for the quote book. When we got home a certain rugged man toy came over and brought me presents and some birthday cuddles, and actually got my sick dog to drink some water. I can't even say how much fun I had this year, but I'm a lucky girl with awesome friends and family. Thank you everyone - I love you guys!!!
